Save Gamble
Place by donating to the Museum of Arts & Sciences !
The funding cutbacks facing cultural institutions
have ramifications that we as a community simply can't
afford. We work tirelessly to make our region of the
state a better place each day.
Recently, the City of Port
Orange notified the Museum
of Arts & Sciences that they intend to default
on the lease payments of Gamble
Place property. This represents a cut of $50,000
affecting the museum's budget this fiscal year. This, on
top of a $60,000 cut by the state, has made it necessary
to ask for your support.
All donations will be
acknowledged in a special section in Arts and Sciences
Magazine and they may be made in honor or memory of
someone special. Click
here for more information about donating to the Museum
of Arts & Sciences!
